About
A Credit can represent more than ownership.
01What it is
A Human Credit is a public acknowledgment tied to a Credit. It names a person, the kind of contribution they made, what they did, and who is giving the credit. Each one gets its own page.
02Why contribution
Ledgers are good at remembering who paid whom. They rarely remember the introduction that started a company, the tool someone gave away, or the patience of a good teacher. Human Credit is a small attempt to write those down.
03Built around Credits
Human Credit is built around Credits, the onchain collection by Jack Butcher. Each Human Credit references a Credit by its token ID.
It does not modify the Credit NFT or its metadata in any way. A Human Credit is a separate, dated record that points to it. If that Credit later changes hands or is burned, the acknowledgment stays as it was recorded.
For now, nothing is verified. Token IDs, names, handles and the contributions themselves are entered by hand and every record is marked as self-reported. Wallet verification of Credit ownership is planned.
04Independent
Human Credit is an independent experiment. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Jack Butcher or the Credits project. It is not a token, a score, or a financial product. Nothing here can be bought, sold, or borrowed against, and a Human Credit is not proof of identity, current ownership, or any claim to proceeds.
05Reporting
If a Human Credit shares private information, targets someone, or is simply wrong, use the report link on its page or email humancredit.reports@gmail.com with the link. Reported records can be taken down.
06The Human Ledger
Human Credit comes from The Human Ledger Framework, which asks what future systems might look like if they remembered people and contribution, not just transactions.
